Frames

Lenses

CR-39 - a regular plastic and inexpensive lens, how thick it is depends on the prescription.

Mid-Index Lenses - a little more expensive but usually thinner depending on the prescription.

High-Index Lenses - lighter/thinner and more expensive but have a thinner edge then regular plastic depending on the prescription.

Polycarbonate Lenses - tough industrial plastic, very durable and impact resistant. Very light in weight but may not offer the best vision attainable.

Glass Lenses - tough and durable with good vision but heavy compared to plastic lenses.

Scratch Coatings - protects against scratches.

Anti-Reflection Coatings - helps cut out glare especially at night and gives the “no lens” look.

Transition Lenses - darken according to the amount of ultraviolet light when outside

Contact Lenses

We provide contact lenses to suit all needs from daily wear, to extended wear, coloured lenses and "wild eyes". We offer competitive rates and can ship your choice directly to your home or office.

Sunglasses

No matter what the season, care must be taken to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation found in sunlight. Even on cloudy days UV is a problem. The colour or darkness of the lens has no effect on the quality of UV protection, instead the percentage that the lenses block should be taken into account. We provide a selection of prescription and non-prescription designer sunglasses to suit your individual needs.
